Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) is a research-based program created by psychologists to harnessing the power of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to increase our power over depression and anxiety. A unique approach to group therapy, each 8-week course includes:
2-hour weekly meetings on a weekday
A half-day virtual retreat on a weekend
Mindful movement rooted in yoga
Guided meditations
Class activities
Group discussion
Supplemental recordings for home practice

Join virtually every Monday from March 6th through April 24th from 6pmET-8pmET
Participate in a virtual half-day retreat Saturday, April 15th from 10amET-2pmET (Includes mindful eating session during lunch.)

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Selena La’Chelle Collazo, MFT-LP, RYT-500 (she/her) seeks to help individuals lead a life in honor of their authentic voice. Selena offers bilingual (English & Spanish), BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ affirming liberation and wellness practices including bespoke journaling journeys, personalized yoga sessions, mindfulness meditation, and narrative-based psychotherapy through Interweave Therapy. Selena holds degrees from the University of California (B.A., Psychology), Endicott College (M.Ed., International Education), Alliant International University (M.A., Counseling Psychology), and Brown University (A.M. & Ph.D., Theatre Arts & Performance Studies). She works virtually with New York-based therapy clients*, is currently enrolled in the Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy Teacher Certification Program through the University of California San Diego Center for Mindfulness**, and has trained in somatic-based EMDR Therapy through the Institute of Creative Mindfulness, specializing in serving BIPOC communities.
