Rooted in Narrative Therapy and Liberation Psychology, this workshop will move beyond theory into practice using guided meditation and journaling explorations to provide an opportunity to experience the powerful combination of mindfulness and creative expression to empower self-knowledge.



Take ownership of your space and set the tone for this session by lighting a scented candle, pouring a cup of tea, cueing a soothing playlist, and settling into a cozy spot with a bound journal and your favorite writing tools. From this introspective place of calm, we will sit with brief rounds of trauma-sensitive mindfulness practice, interwoven with opportunities to write, sketch, and draw. This two-pronged approach to witnessing our inner world will help us tap into our needs as the holiday season approaches, clarify our intentions going into the final weeks of the year, and create achievable self-care goals to nurture ourselves in the lead up to the new year.
